Our Services

Our church is part of the Northwich Circuit of the Chester and Stoke District of The Methodist Church of Great Britain.

As with all Methodist churches we have our own Minister, visiting Ministers and local preachers leading our services.

Also one of our members is an accredited local preacher and our church council has appointed a worship leader to aid continuity of our worship and to act as a link between our church members and circuit preachers. (see contact page)

Members of our congregation are encouraged to take an active part in our services, for example readings, drama, music and prayer. We use all these resources to explore a wide range of styles of worship and hope to develop this further in the future.

Our regular All Age Worship Family Services are becoming increasingly popular. They usually take place on the first Sunday of the month. (see services page). These services tend to be less formal

We also hold monthly midweek prayer meetings and midweek praise & worship meetings (see events page)

Music in our church

Our church enjoys a mix of music styles ranging from traditional organ accompaniments through acoustic guitars to electric guitars, keyboards and drums! Something to suit everyone!

We like a good sing: traditional hymns as well as modern choruses and songs.

Other activities

On the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, the house fellowship group meet at members houses from 7:30 pm for Bible study, discussion and a cup of tea! For more details contact Geoff or Carol Lynch (see contact page)

Members meet regularly for prayer support both for the needs of our church, our local community and the world. (see contact page)

Pastoral care ...members of our church visit people in their own homes or in hospital to offer support and fellowship in times of need. (see contact page)

Many of our members use their skills to help in the life of our church, such as catering, cleaning, flower arranging, stewardship, finances and administration, fundraising. We encourage members to use their creative skills also to enhance our church environment.
